Chamshir dam and hydropower plant located at 25 km south-east Ghachsaran city in Kohkyloye & Boyerahmad province before joining Kheirabad river to Zohreh river near Bushehr province. This dam is for huge control & impounding water for drinking and irrigation and industry region and electric hydropower and flood control and prevent flooding, is most important matter from the other dams.

This dam is highest RCC weight concrete dam in Iran.

Height of the dam is 151m bottom width 71m width of crest is 7m and length 680m. All instruments for monitoring is by Huggenberger Co. and installation by Munir Co. Is under construction.
