Karun 3 dam & hydro-power plant located east 28 km of Izeh city and part 610 km from Karun river start-up in north eastern of Khozestan province. This dam is double – arch dam with 205 m height 462m crest, foundation 29m width is for impounding water, flood control and management for using water for drinking, agriculture and hydro- power generation.
